Danielle MacDonald, President/CEO

At the helm of MAC4 Communications, a company founded in 2001 is President/CEO Danielle MacDonald. With more than 20 years of communications experience in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, high tech, higher education and business, Danielle is well versed in the areas of Internal and change communications, Web development, public relations, and social marketing. Danielle's project and vendor management abilities complement her experience.
Danielle maintains extended relationships with her clients. She’s provided long-term internal, change, and HR communications support to companies such as: AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, SAP North America, Shire Pharmaceuticals, Comcast, and Janssen Supply Chain, to name a few. Along with her passionate and professional team of writers, graphic and web designers, site optimization professionals, and project managers, Danielle has provided web site design and development, branding and collateral development, media buying and public relations support to various other clients including: In-Development, The Farm & the Fisherman, Crompco, LLC, Katsock & Company, Kristel Closets, Talent Solutions and more. In 2010, Danielle and MAC4 partnered with Kim Huggins (K HR Solutions) to publish GENerate Performance! Unleashing the Power of a Multi-Generational Workforce.
Prior to launching MAC4, Danielle spent five years as an HR Communications Consultant with SAP North America. Previous to this, Danielle held several marketing and communications roles, including Director of Marketing and Public Relations for Montgomery Hospital Medical Center , Director of Public Relations for Gwynedd-Mercy College, and Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications for NovaCare, Inc. She also served as Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Mercy Health System at Haverford Hospital , and as Director of Marketing and Membership Services for the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.
Danielle earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism in 1989 from Temple University . She also retains a certificate in management from Villanova University . Danielle is a certified English tutor, a sixth grade Catechist, a Ragan Communications Select member, a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and a member of the Business Women’s Advisory Council. She was a former board member of the eWomen Network’s King of Prussia chapter.
A busy working mother of two daughters, Danielle enjoys running to soccer and basketball games and to Girl Scout events on the weekends. She is also an avid reader, and an amateur travel enthusiast. Danielle and her husband Chris reside with their daughters in Trappe, PA.
Paula Marolewski, Copywriter

Paula Marolewski joined the MAC4 writing team in 2008. As a veteran copywriter with more than a dozen years’ experience in marketing and advertising, Paula excels in developing information-rich articles and white papers, targeted marketing materials, and search engine optimized web copy. She is also a professional ghostwriter of full-length books, offering businessmen and women the opportunity to present themselves to their clientele as industry experts and thought leaders.
Paula brings to the table a unique ability to make the complex understandable. She has written for such diverse companies as leadership development consultants, financial advisors, technology firms, pharmaceutical corporations, and web marketing specialists. In every case, she has enabled these companies to communicate their products, services, and benefits in clear and compelling language to their target markets. Paula’s words sparkle with energy, engage customers, and deliver results.
Laura Shemonsky, Communications Consultant

Laura Shemonsky brings her writing expertise and vast media experience to MAC4 Communications. Laura provides copy writing, public relations, and project management support to a variety of MAC4 clients. With two decades of experience in television news, working as a producer and editor for television networks such as CNN, ABC, and NBC in both New York and Washington D.C., Laura’s work has been seen around the world. She has worked for major media figures such as Ted Koppel, Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper for shows including Nightline, Good Morning America, The Situation Room and Anderson Cooper 360°.
Lisa Smith, Project Manager
Lisa Smith supports the entire MAC4 team with her exceptional project coordination skills. Lisa joined the team in June 2008 and is already well in tuned to our clients.
She brings with her many years of project management and event management experience from NovaCare, Inc. At NovaCare, Lisa was the corporate recruiter, coordinator for national conventions, job fairs, both in the field and in-house, as well as coordinator of foreign trained therapists coming from their home countries to the US .
Danielle Vetter, Communications Intern
Danielle Vetter recently joined the MAC4 team as an intern student from West Chester University, in West Chester, Pennsylvania where she will graduate with a bachelor’s of science degree in Marketing in May 2011. Danielle is combining her education with first-hand Communications experience to assist on MAC4 projects. Her organizational skills and strong work ethic have allowed her to excel in both school and work. Danielle has a keen interest in social media and e-mail marketing. |
